AEDO ORTHOPEDICS SLP

Privacy policy

How your information is handled when you contact the practice.

Controller and contact

Aedo Orthopedics SLP is the controller for information received through this website’s own channels. Privacy contact: contacto@draedomartin.com. Identification details appear in the legal notice.

Purposes and lawful bases

Enquiries and appointments: your name, contact details and general reason for contacting us are used to respond and manage your request. The basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and, where applicable, performing the professional relationship (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Required fields enable us to respond.

Healthcare: when a care relationship begins, specific information is provided about clinical records and coordination. Necessary healthcare processing relies on the applicable lawful bases and GDPR Article 9(2)(h), subject to professional secrecy. This initial contact is not a channel for medical reports.

Security: necessary technical logs are processed under the legitimate interest in protecting the service (Article 6(1)(f)); legal obligations are met under Article 6(1)(c).

Information to send

For an appointment request, provide a general reason and contact details. Do not send medical reports, clinical photographs, identity documents or detailed health information through the form or WhatsApp. An appropriate channel will be indicated if documents are needed. You must have authority when contacting us on someone else’s behalf.

Recipients and external services

Hosting, email and support providers may access information as needed to provide their services under the applicable conditions and safeguards. Information is not sold or automatically shared with other projects for marketing.

TopDoctors, WhatsApp and hospital booking services apply their own privacy policies. Their use may involve providers outside the European Economic Area; review their terms and safeguards before using them. Alternative contact channels remain available.

Clinical referrals or coordination are explained and limited to what is necessary under the appropriate legal basis. UPPER, TraumaInnova and hospitals do not automatically receive this form’s contents.

Retention

Enquiries are kept while they are being handled and followed up, then deleted or restricted for the applicable liability periods. Clinical or professional records are subject to their specific statutory requirements, explained in that context. Medical records are not deleted simply because an appointment ends.

Newsletter

When enabled, newsletter subscription is voluntary and separate from healthcare. It requires specific consent (Article 6(1)(a)); unsubscribe using the link in each email or by contacting us. Booking an appointment does not subscribe you.

The newsletter is managed through MailerLite. Opening the form connects to its service; submitting it sends your email address to MailerLite to handle subscription confirmation. The form includes a separate consent checkbox. Subscription is completed only after email confirmation.

Questionnaires and automated decisions

Questionnaire answers and internal searches are processed in your browser and are not sent to the clinical team or turned into a clinical record by this website. You can keep results using the available print or download function. Contact information is not used for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, where applicable, by emailing contacto@draedomartin.com. Please identify the request; additional identity information will only be requested where necessary.

You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing and complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

Scope and changes

This policy covers the public website pruebas.draedomartin.com/. It does not replace hospital, external platform or clinical application policies. Changes to processing will be reflected here and explained before introducing a new purpose where required.
